I-75 is completely closed for a few miles in downtown Detroit. You may follow the posted detour signs which will take you to I-275 North and then back to I-75 via I-94 East. Another shorter detour to consider is to stay on I-75 a little longer and get off on M-39 West, which is Southfield Rd in Allen Park. There will be about a 2 mile stretch of surface road in Allen Park but you will be able to get onto I-94 East sooner. In either case you will take I-94 East to Detroit to I-75 North to get to the hotel in Troy.Valerie Reidhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02264044328635618028noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34685637.post-58699229387734730522008-09-29T13:05:00.000-07:002008-09-29T13:31:47.000-07:00Check Out The Conference Blog!Clare Leibfarth has graciously volunteered to blog the Midwest MLA / MHSLA 2008 Conference, as she has done for the past two Midwest Conferences. Keep in mind, though, that you cannot book the double-bed rooms online. Instead, you must call or email Lucy Micakaj, the Marriott Hotel Group Room Coordinator. Lucy can be reached at (248) 680-9663 or lucy.micakaj@marriott.com. If you had trouble booking a room at the Marriott, please contact Lucy.
